Insomniac
I think I am turning into an insomniac. During my vacation I usually go to sleep late because I cannot and do not go to sleep late when I am working because I need to be on my toes with my students. But lately I have been going to sleep till 2 or 3 in the morning and wake up by 9 or 9:30. Usually I would take naps in the afternoon but I havn't done that for a while also.
I need to stop going to sleep so late because I will be heading back to work soon. I need to go back to my old sleeping pattern. I don't know why I started doing this because I was going to sleep relatively early when I was in LA. Then I come back and everything changes. Maybe it is because we really have long summer days here. It doesn't start to get dark till around 9:30 pm. Well I need to start forcing myself to get to bed early.

Let's look at the definition of isomnia, shall we.
"Chronic inability to fall asleep or remain asleep for an adequate length of time."
So, OK, you're not falling asleep until 2 or 3am, but you're still sleeping for a good 6 hours, so I think that keeps you from being classified an insomniac.
